I know I just said I’d take a break from blogging, but I really thought these articles needed to be passed on.

1. The Sydney Morning Herald reports on white sexual abuse of Aboriginal children in the Northern Territory with characteristic power-aversive race talk that downplays the colonial violence occurring there.

2. Academic Larissa Behrendt says that there’s a racist discourse of Indigenous issues in this country which is destructive to Indigenous peoples’ rights, health, safety, and wellbeing. (What about self-determination, Larissa?)
